Bulk SMS functionality to Assigned Technicians from the job

This update introduces Bulk SMS functionality to streamline communication with technicians assigned to active jobs. This feature allows users to quickly select multiple technicians, use predefined SMS templates, and manage mobile contact details, all from a central interface.

Users can easily communicate key job updates or reminders without the need to message each technician individually. The functionality supports technician selection, manual number entry (when needed), and validation rules to ensure accurate delivery.

An optional audit log helps maintain traceability of all bulk messages sent.

Key Benefits

  • Improved Communication Efficiency: Send updates or instructions to multiple technicians in a few clicks, saving significant time compared to one-by-one messaging.

  • SMS Templates: Leverage predefined SMS templates to ensure clear, consistent communication while saving time on manual message entry.

  • Flexible Contact Handling: Easily enter missing mobile numbers on the fly without leaving the SMS screen.

  • Transparency & Auditability: Optionally log all bulk SMS activity with recipient details and timestamps for better oversight and compliance.

  • Reduces Communication Gaps: Helps ensure that no technician is left out due to missing contact info, thanks to mobile entry. (*Subject to configuration and setup)

  • Enhances Team Coordination: Keeps technicians aligned with job expectations, schedule changes, or important updates in real-time.
